Unlike several significant changes, Call of Duty Advanced Warfare introduces several significant changes. In fact, if you play this game for the 1st time, you’ll feel like playing a new game.

The best thing in Advanced Warfare is that it does not use the same old HUD or Heads-up-Display.

If HUD is not there, what new is there? Well, instead of a HUD, your weapons equip holographic projections. Using that, you’ll get all the information of enemies who is opposite you.

Apart from the new mechanism called ‘EXO’ everything is unchanged. Now, in order to perform new EXO movements, you’ll need Exoskeleton. Using it, you can perform a boost, sky jumps your player.

For the 1st time ever in the Call of Duty gaming series, you’re allowed to use conventional weaponry. Initially, you’ll find it a bit confusing but soon you’ll get used to it. Even I had the same issue but with regular gameplay, I overcame the issue.

Once you know how to use it, you can easily choose to use energy weaponry. Further, Call of Duty Warfare has 3 gameplay modes, let’s get to each of them one-by-one:

Call of Duty Advanced Warfare Gameplay

Campaign

As compared to all the previous call of duty editions, the campaign mode in Advanced Warfare allows you to play this game with only one character and that is none other than Jack Mitchell.

Similar to Call of Duty Black Ops II, the campaign mode includes cinematic cut scenes to assist you in completing a particular story.

Once you complete a mission, you’re awarded a certain number of points that you can use to upgrade your Exo Suit or weapons.

Not only this, but you also get to upgrade resistance, tactical, sprint, recoil, armor, quick aim, reload and other multiple skills. Now, the main question is how these points get distributed. Well, it all depends on your performance in missions.

In addition to this, complete some extra objectives and get some additional points in y our account. Switch between different throwables to use some uniquely possessed abilities.

Multiplayer

When it comes to similarities between advanced warfare and the previous call of duty titles is concerned, the Multiplayer mode is not far behind.

In Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, there’s pick 13 system which is quite similar to the pick 10 system of Black Ops 2.

This newer arrangement in Call of Duty Advanced Warfare allows you to pick perks, attachments, weapons, or any score-streaks.

AS you continue to play the multiplayer mode in this game, you get several opportunities to upgrade your score-streaks with different modules.

That was bout score-streaks, what about weapons? Well, similar to the previous call of duty games, Call of Duty Advanced Warfare has a collection of weapon variants.

Each of these weapons has better stats as compared to the base weapons. So, as a result of this, we get around 350 weapons in the complete game.

Through regular supply drops, you can earn new and improved in-game gears. From weapon variants to new gears, each drop includes randomized content. Not only this, but you also earn bonus experience points as well. Furthermore, complete daily in-game challenges and earn as many supply drops as you can.

Exo Survival

It was for the very 1st time in Advanced Warfare Cooperative mode when Exo Survival was announced. When I played this game for the very 1st time, I thought it to be quite similar to survival mode in Modern Warfare 3.

But in reality, it wasn’t. In fact, Call of Duty Advanced Warfare allows you to play this game with a team of a total of 4 players. You’ll fight off against A.I. controlled enemies in a wave-based match.

Select 4 different Exo classes, grant different abilities, and score-streaks, you’re all set to face off against your enemies. After every match, you can upgrade your weapons and score-streaks.

After completing several back-to-back matches, you’ll get a number of objectives that you need to complete in order to proceed in the game.

The objectives include collecting intel from the enemies, or defending a location from them Complete these little objectives in order to receive bonus upgrade points.

What if you’re unable to complete a mission? Well, as a punishment, your Exo suit will disable temporarily.
